What is going on in INDIA? #NoSafetyForGirl

This feeling of unsafe and insecurity is growing inside.
A girl is not safe in her house, school, Temple.
The terror of being abused or getting raped and murder is increasing day by day.

No one taking a stand for them.
People are just talking about it.
Govt. is seeing it as a puppet show.
The girls are dying or being molested for being rapped by a man. (I don’t think so, he is a man anymore)

pexels-photo-568027.jpeg

I can’t even write about what is running in my mind,

As soon as I open my TV, there is only news about rape, murder, molestation.

People are saying Govt. is not doing anything.

But what people are doing for this matter?

No justice for rape victims in India, I must say – It is not a safe country anymore.

I want this Govt to allow for at least gender reveal so that a girl should not be bornI do not want my daughter to end her life like this in Future.

Sad truth no safety and no one is looking for solution too.. more sad to see the whole crowd get awaken only after rape happens, no one awake for making change, making an effort to see better world on own Individual level.. it is not like that solutions are not there, ofcoz it need to reconstruct new world but it need Individual to give own utmost effect to transform sick men.. punishment, justice all these things are necessary but more important is to work on solutions so that it do not require to see these situations with others and running for justice…

So sad and sickening. As a mother of both girls and a boy, families must educate their children and take a stand that this won’t be tolerated. Who else can fight for them? Education and awareness can help. We must protect our children.

That is the best thing a mother can do. Education, awareness, and strict rules can change this situation.

  15. I think only after a strong law against such crimes gets passed can result into the fear from the side of the family to teach their children from the very beginning the consequences of such heinous crime. Otherwise there is little chances of bringing change in the thought process of the people. Only fear can work now.

Not only a strong law against such crimes has to get passed. The police should also follow up the pursuit of that law. In the homes and at school children should receive the education and learn about ethics and human rights and should learn to respect those around them, male and female, transgender and other different people, be it with the same or with different colour of skin or other culture or religion.

It is terrible what happens with female being in India and some other countries. You saying ” I want this Govt to allow for at least gender reveal so that a girl should not be born.” gives the impression you would like parents to have abortions ((killing a young living being in the coming) so that no female beings would come on this world any more. That would result in only male beings running around (Is it that what you want?)

Governments as well as parents should educate their children and should punish them when they do something unacceptable. They also should teach people that women have equal rights as men and should be treated likewise.

Examples should be presented and firm actions should be taken against any person who acts against human rights.
for the manner how people treat others, every around in the community should make clear in their own community what ethics should be followed and how people should treat others in their community. Those who donot behave should be reprimanded and their punishment should be a harsh example for all.

Very nice and concerned writing!! A very sensitive issue, Govt. does it or not but one thing we can do as a part of humanity and society is teaching our sons respect for the woman! We should not be tolerating any fun remark on a daughter, sister or wife as they being a woman or week in any sense. If we give a boy child right education and morality towards we can definitely overcome this situation. The root has to be cured and treated!

  39. Hey Divya!
I went through your blog and it is amazing. You’re such a soft-hearted sugar cake. India is ranked number 1 as the most dangerous place for women but I feel like same is the situation here in Pakistan. Maybe not at such a wide scale as in India, but the situation is getting worse day by day here as well. This issue is not confined to any country or government. In fact, it is an issue of human psychology and education, grooming and upbringing. Writers like you can spread much awareness and positivity in this world. Keep writing and spreading hope. 🙂
